I.P.M.s
n. “Items Per Minute.” A measure of a checkout cashier's productivity. I.e., their CUSTOMER throughput, based on how fast they SCAN.NOTE: There's apparently been a gradual downward trend over the years in the Front-End team's average. Nowadays, I.P.M.s above 30 are great! Above 20, good. Below 10, get immediate help!
